Erika Tsimbrovsky's 'landscape dances' series explores the theme of immigration by re-considering definitions of ‘home’ and ‘rootedness.’ ​As someone who immigrated many times, we search for roots of rootlessness. Thinking and questining our own bodies that exist in moving landscapes and experiencing moving homes, we ask questions: What is my landscape these days? What about the landscape's horizon?

Ongoing inquiry:

During the Covid-19 lockdown, we contemplated on words ‘home’ and ‘rootedness’ while combining dance and visual art in missing human places. Moving landscapes, horizontal lines and planes inspired ‘everyday art-making.’
