In conversation with twigs and paper, I couldn’t resist leaning into poetic openings that filled the room. The video captures a working session from last year, a rehearsal for a performance titled "meditation / landscape / time / moving towards & away."
This piece was meant to unfold at the Vanderhoef Studio Theatre, Mondavi Center, Davis, in May 2023. However, it never reached the public due to a tragic series of murders in Davis during the weeks surrounding the scheduled event.
